Cricket Scotland's objectives were to increase profit margins through raising the profile of their corporate hospitality provision to a business audience. They wanted to increase prices, guests numbers and loyalty to Cricket Scotland.
MatchPoint were appointed to provide corporate hospitality for all Cricket Scotland's international games, following their approved status for One-Day International test matches.
MatchPoint embarked on a dedicated sales campaign targeting Edinburgh and Glasgow businesses and London organisations with an Edinburgh base. The level of delivery and service on the day is paramount due the need for repeat loyalty in following years. - 65% of total revenue generated from the Scotland v England ODI was from the hospitality market
- 240% increase in corporate guests
- 350% increase in revenue from 2007 levels
MatchPoint's official hospitality options at the 2008 Scotland v England ODI recently won the 2009 Scottish Event Award for Best Corporate Hospitality.
