The objective for the Edinburgh Tattoo was to increase revenue through maximising sales of corporate hospitality for the event. Previously, sales had been static for three consecutive years.
The Edinburgh Tattoo wanted to develop a restaurant hospitality programme to complement their existing corporate box packages.

Match Point was appointed in 2004 with an exclusive contract to sell Edinburgh Military Tattoo East Stand restaurant hospitality. The target market was local and international Scottish businesses, particularly organisations looking to entertain international guests, and businesses based outwith Scotland doing business in Scotland.

The following results have been achieved for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo to date:

  • 255% increase in total corporate guests attending
  • 50% increase in price per guest
  • 115% increase in royalty per person since
    2004
Match Point has been nominated as Scotland's Best Corporate Hospitality Package for the Edinburgh Military Tattoo in the Scottish Event Awards 2008.

"Forging strong relationships with Match Point has meant a greater understanding of what corporate hospitality can offer the Tattoo. Using a specialist company has enabled us to maximise the corporate growth whilst ensuring the quality of delivery is in keeping with the Tattoo brand and objectives."
